The Minority Business Development Agency’s Manhattan Business Center ( Manhattan MBDA) on Wall Street is operated by the Business Outreach Center Network Inc. Our Center promotes the growth of socially and econmically disavantaged business through direct service, the mobilization and advancement of public/private sector programs, policy, advocacy and research.
We connect small businesses to diverse procurement opportunities in our local, state and global markets. Our team facilitates client access to business intelligence, MBE certifications, and we assist with access to capital resources. BOC Network, a non profit organization has served the small business community for over 30 years.
The MBDA’s Manhattan Business Center efforts include supporting socially and economically disadvanged firms in all industries, ranging from construction to manufacturing, information technology to professional services.
Now, more than ever, we support our MBDA contractors to make sure our clients have fair and equal access to business development services, technical assistance, contracts, capital and new markets. We believe that while the pandemic has been a disruptive force, there are novel opportunities.
While the business landscape has dramatically shifted, we are actively forging new strategic connections with buyers seeking to shore up their supply chains by including streams of diverse suppliers and trade contractors.
Our agile team allows us to work directly with our clients to position them for growth, provide technical assistance and to create vital opportunities for both our clients and our strategic partner source companies. Small business is essential, represents the lifeblood of our community-and this is an 'All Hands On Deck' moment.
